Chinese Ethnic and Folk Dance Graded Examination

The Chinese Ethnic and Folk Dance Graded Examination is organized by the Chinese Ethnic and Folk Dance Graded Examination Center. It is an authoritative national-level dance assessment system designed to preserve traditional Chinese culture and promote the rich and diverse folk dance heritage of various ethnic groups.

The examination is based on the Chinese Ethnic and Folk Dance Graded Examination Syllabus, which was officially filed with the Ministry of Culture in 2004 by the China Society of Vocational Education for the Arts. The syllabus was edited by Professor Pan Zhitao from the Beijing Dance Academy, with contributions from hundreds of experts from leading arts institutions, professional dance companies, and national intangible cultural heritage inheritors. It is highly regarded for its academic depth and professional authority.
